If you didn’t like the effect, then you can easily remove it by merely un-equipping the Charm that has caused it to overpass the Notch limit. Once the requirements are completed, the Overcharmed status will be activated. However, in this event, your character has five chances to equip a Charm that takes your strength beyond the max number of Notches it can hold. It will show status when your character fulfills the requirements of an objective. It is a system that is specially designed to display the status of your character. While playing the game, some merchants will appear who are selling notches while some are earned by completing a series of requirements.
11 kinds of Notches can be found in the game, and by default, your character (The Knight) starts his adventure with three Notches, while the remaining eight can be obtained as you advance through the game.
